Villa OMG

Our premium four bedroom villa with direct water frontage.

This is the largest Heavenly Residence villa. An architectural marvel in itself, the villa is set in steps cascading down the cliff like paddy terraces and took over 18 months to build. Named Villa OMG for ‘Oh My God’ after the gasps of involuntary surprise made by those who set foot in this property for the first time.

That awe is well deserved. Firstly, it is huge, at 700 sq m (7,534 sq ft) and secondly you have the 180-degree ocean views. It literally appears as though the Indian Ocean has just been laid at your feet; a wide and endless aqua blue sea. A 25 metre infinity-edge pool has its long sides pouring out seaward. A mere glimpse is surely an invitation to sit in the inset jacuzzi and try to figure out where the sea, the horizon and the pool edge meet. Once out of the water, there is a long ironwood sundeck, complete with a bale and lawn all offering equally splendid views. With a guest capacity of 50, a more dramatic setting for a glamorous party, wedding or other event would be hard to imagine.

But Villa OMG is more than its exterior. Honed marble flooring flows through the villa which is fitted with woven rattan and sea-grass furniture. Thai silks of various colours are used to define different areas of the villa: bronze for the games room, charcoal grey for the dining room and blue for the living room. The luxurious interior also contains thoughtful touches of Balinese culture, such as a 6 metre abstract canvas from renowned local artist Wayan Gabrig in the living room.

To accentuate the extraordinary nature of Heavenly Residence’s location, the dining room walls are white to resemble the natural limestone of the cliffs, while a tropical coral fish tank brings ocean life into the villa. Each of the four bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom with marble furnishings and Grohe taps and showerheads. Throughout, the generous use of mirrors not only serves to expand the spacious look of the villa, but also reflects the wall-to-ceiling sea-views to near infinity. The effect is simply heavenly.

VILLA O-WOW

A 3 + 1 bedroom villas.

The second villa has no lack of ‘wow’ factor either. Appropriately enough, it is called Villa ‘O-Wow!’, an exclamation that may well come from guests as they arrive. Entry is via a private lift from the underground car-park, up the cliff face. The lift doors open right into a garden in the sky. The colour palette is Javanese, with Borobudur-inspired stone carvings and lighting. With 600 sq m (6,458 sq ft) of living space, it is almost as spacious as Villa OMG.

The layout is a minimalist-modern interpretation of a Balinese compound, with three double bedroom suites, a studio-office and a pavilion arranged within landscaped grounds. The centre-piece is an infinity-edge pool situated just over a sheer drop to the sea, giving the appearence of pouring directly into the horizon. Views throughout the compound are spectacular and it feels especially dramatic when enjoyed with a cold drink in hand, floating at the lip of the pool. Villa ‘O-Wow!’ is ideal for two or three sophisticated couples to share or a family that requires very special accommodation.

VILLA O-LALA

A three bedroom villa.

Villa ‘O-la-la’, is a three bedroom villa and the smallest of the Heavenly Residence portfolio but it comes as luxuriously furnished and appointed as the other two properties.

The infinity-edge pool and crisply designed gardens compliment three double bedroom suites, large living dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The stunning views turn even a short stay here into a truly heavenly experience.

All three villas have access to a private beach at the foot of the cliff. State-of-the-art theatre and audio systems in all three villas mean that guests will never lack for entertainment. Service, too, is exemplary: a 24-hour butler and concierge is available, as are housekeeping services to keep the premises trim and spotless. Breakfast and complimentary pick-up and departure service are included as well as other benefits applicable such as dinner, theme dinner and massage based on minimum nights stay.
