Tropical Outdoor Attributes

The villa is accessed through a heavy timber entrance gate that leads directly into a garden compound with stone pathways edged in tropical flora. A generous sized swimming pool is the centerpiece of the property and is enveloped by a sundeck, a pair of fragrant frangipani trees and several reclining sun-loungers. A traditional thatched pavilion, adorned with plump cushions and sheer curtains that waft in the breeze, is a shady niche for lazy afternoon naps.

Ample Living Space

There are plenty of terraced areas featured throughout Villa Kampung where guests can sit quietly to read or seek private time alone if desired. Alternatively, a communal lounge environment lies beneath an elevated roof structure where oversized chairs, covered in bright cushions and woven textiles, encourages social gatherings after dark. Directly above this open style lounge is a cozy mezzanine setting with a home entertainment system and one wall lined with a bookcase of novels, magazines and other reading materials.

Social Dining Area

A separate dining pavilion and integrated kitchen facility caters especially for extended groups and entertaining. This setting is dominated by a magnificent dining table that has been crafted out of a single piece of timber to accommodate 12 guests in a formal seating arrangement. The sleek kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range stainless steel appliances and a double door refrigerator to enable convenient meal preparation. An elegant dresser is used to store all necessary tableware and fills this entire area with rustic charm.

Private Bedroom Suites

A total of six bedroom suites in three separate dwellings have been orientated to instill a sense of privacy for every guest. Different room configurations with classically inspired furnishings, ornate carved doors and eye-catching pieces of artwork display flair and originality. Each bedroom features an individually styled canopied double bed with crisp cotton linen, a personalized sitting area and ensuite bathroom with either a sunken tub, shower recess or both facilities for leisurely bathing rituals. There are also a number of relaxation areas with traditional day-beds and sofa’s. A terraced area directly in front of the connecting loft bedroom suites has a billiard table permanently set up for permanent games.
