The three bedrooms, single-storey Villa Noa offers peace and tranquillity in the heart of Seminyak, just a few minutes’ from the beach on Bali’s southwest coast. Presenting contemporary architecture and a tropical open-living concept, the property is comprised of three buildings positioned around a swimming pool within a spacious walled garden. It is accessed via a short lane leading into a large parking area and a covered carport.

Living & Dining Pavilion

The Living & Dining Pavilion is an open sided pavilion with a terrazzo floor and a high roof supported by pillars. The pavilion is cooled by ceiling fans and bordered by an ornamental pond, which is traversed by stepping stones. Bubbling fountains within the pond create the tranquil sound of running water. The living area is furnished with two large daybeds complete with stylish black, cream and yellow cushions. There is also a glass-topped coffee table and some floor cushions. A TV with satellite channels is positioned up high on one of the pillars. At the opposite end of the pavilion is the dining area, furnished with a table and eight comfortable rattan dining chairs, and decorated with a colourful painting and a water cascade with a rotating sphere. A well equipped kitchen is located next to the dining area behind a screen wall. There is a small room off the kitchen with WiFi Internet access, a laptop computer, printer and scanner for the use of the guests.

Master Bedroom

The Master Bedroom, together with its en-suite bathroom, is completely self-contained within a stand alone building. The bedroom is characterised by an abundance of glass, light and space, with fresh white walls and a cool terrazzo floor under a soaring, pitched roof. Sliding glass doors, on two sides of the room, present views of the garden while also offering direct access to the swimming pool. The modern, dark wood furnishings include a canopied, king size, four-poster bed, bedside tables and reading lamps, a chest of drawers, a custom built wardrobe and a make up table and mirror. The Master Bedroom is equipped with a 29-inch satellite TV with a DVD/CD player and high quality speakers. There is also a mini-bar fridge, a safe deposit box, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. The spacious, en-suite bathroom is accessed by a sliding door. Open to the sky, and featuring potted plants and a water cascade with a rotating sphere, the bathroom is fitted with a walk-in raindrop shower, twin washbasins and a toilet. A second door provides direct access to the garden.

Guest Bedrooms

The two Guest Bedrooms are housed within one building. Each has its own separate entrance, while also being linked by an adjoining door. Each bedroom is complemented by a private en-suite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. Each is equipped with air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a mini-bar fridge and a safe deposit box. The style and décor and dark wood furniture is similar to that of the Master Bedroom, with a high roof, large glass windows, sliding glass doors, white walls and plenty of light. Each bedroom has a king size four-poster bed hung with white drapes, harmonised with some local artwork and stone carvings from the island of Sumba. The open-air bathrooms are also similar to the Master Bathroom, each presenting a walk-in raindrop shower, twin washbasins, a toilet, and some potted plants.

Swimming Pool & Garden

The 11 x 4 metre swimming pool is perfect for swimming laps. It is surrounded by a flat, velvety lawn within a neat walled garden planted with flowering shrubs and a series of fan-shaped travellers’ palms. Large pots of bougainvillea, a statue, three sunbeds and an umbrella rest beside the pool, which is directly accessed from each of the bedrooms and the living pavilion. No chemicals are used in the pool; instead it employs a bio-system that is soft on the earth and gentle on the skin. The staff are always very happy to indulge guests with a barbeque in the garden.

Location

Villa Noa is located in the heart of the Oberoi area. A prime district exemplified by internationally-acclaimed restaurants and chic designer boutiques. Just one kilometre away is the sweeping Seminyak Beach, known for its world-class surf breaks, wonderful views and legendary sunsets. The street is also home to the prestigious Oberoi and Legian Hotels, and the famous Ku Dé Ta, La Lucciola, Hu’u Bar and Living Room restaurants. The villa is located 20 minutes from Bali’s International Airport, and is convenient for all of Bali’s main shops, shopping malls, tourist attractions and vibrant nightspots. Easily accessible sporting amenities include the ‘Nirwana Bali Golf Course’, which was designed by Greg Norman and voted the number 1 golf course in Indonesia. For horse lovers, the ‘Umalas Equestrian Centre’ is just a few kilometres away.

One full-time Villa Manager -
Oversees and coordinates the staff and property and is available to assist guests during their stay.

One Cook -
Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided, and the cook will do all the market shopping.

One Maid -
Responsible for housekeeping duties, taking care of your daily laundry and providing waiter service around the grounds and buildings of the property.

Two security guards -
Their duties are to patrol the grounds and guard the entrance of the villa from dusk to dawn ensuring your security.

Two gardeners -
Tending the garden and the grounds of the villa.

One pool attendant -
Cleaning and maintaining swimming pool.
