The Villa’s open plan overlooking a valley of rice fields allows guests to simply bask in the setting: watching rice being harvested, hearing the sounds of ducks traversing the fields, observing in awe as a Balinese man climbs up a coconut tree, listening to the steady rhythm of temple music floating across the fields…….

Villa Sancita is designed in a light, airy, modern style. Built in 2010 with architecturally unique features such as curved walls and high timbered ceilings, the house invites relaxation and peace, with panaromic 180 degree views.

Two open-air living areas overlook the pool, garden and valley of rice fields. The three bedrooms all have ricefield views and individual bathrooms. The Master Bedroom has a vaulted wooden ceiling and an ensuite washroom with separate bathtub and shower. The use of natural stone throughout the villa provides a cool and comfortable feel whether you are enjoying a massage, lying back absorbing the views, or being pampered by staff.

The beauty of the house, the caring service of the staff, and the restful nature of the setting combine to ensure an extraordinary stay.

Living Area

There are 2 living areas to suit different moods. The living room opens up to the deck and pool, and the den has a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.

Bedrooms

There are 3 bedrooms, one downstairs and two upstairs.

The spacious master suite is air-conditioned, with a king size bed and private balcony overlooking the rice fields. The ensuite bathroom has a separate shower and bath, and is finished in natural stone.

The second bedroom, upstairs, has a queen size bed and a private balcony with views of the rice fields and pool. The third bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed and garden views. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Dining Room

The villa has a formal dining room adjacent to a gourmet kitchen, and an outdoor dining table on the pool deck.

Outdoor areas include the deck and pool, and multi-level garden

Meals

Breakfast is included. A choice of Continental, American or Indonesian breakfast is cooked fresh to your requirements by our staff. This can be prepared for you at the time of your choice.

At your request, staff can also prepare Balinese or Western dishes for lunch and dinner, at the cost of food plus 20% service charge.

Drinks

A bar service is available.

Swimming Pool

The pool is available for your use at any time.

Music

In-house music is available. Feel free to bring your iPod with your favorite tunes.

Television

Our flat screen television will allow you to watch your favorite movie, or catch up with the latest sports scores. The satellite television service gives you a large choice of channels. We have a DVD player if you choose to watch a movie.

Internet Access

Wireless Internet access is available. For those guests who do not travel with a computer, a basic laptop is available for use in the house.

Massage

If you would like to enjoy a massage in the privacy and comfort of Villa Sancita, it is available upon request. We have a massage table in the house and can arrange for an appointment with a professional masseuse. Indulge!

Transport

While staying at Villa Sancita we can assist with your local travel arrangements. We can arrange rental of a bicycle, motorbike, car, or car and driver.

Child Minding

Babysitting or child-minding services can be arranged if necessary.

Villa Sancita is located 2.4 kilometers from Ubud center on Tirta Tawar Street. Downtown is a pleasant 30 minute walk, or just 5 minutes by motor bike or car. Ubud is situated only 60 -75 minutes from the International Airport.
