Accommodation

Villa Joty has four air-conditioned double bedrooms (8 guests) with en-suite bathrooms. It also has the possibility to accommodate two more guests in a non air-conditioned mezzanine on the second floor of the main building.

Services & Facilities

Full day housekeeping

Ketut, Dayu and Putu are on service all day and will manage their schedule according to your needs.

Our on-site manager, Nyoman Putra, can organise your special requirement for extra staff when necessary, such as barbecues, dinner parties, etc.

The security staff will also be delighted to help you around.

Please do not hesitate to contact them when you require any assistance!

Private buttler and Cook

Ketut, our full-time chef, is responsible for the shopping and preparation of your meals. If you wish to eat in, we have put together a few Set Menus (refer to our Welcoming Kit), which you can choose from.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be arranged with the housekeeping and cooking staff.

Drinks and snacks can also be purchased for your convenience. During your stay, you can also organize dinner parties for up to 15 or 20 guests. You are simply required to notify Ketut or Nyoman a few hours in advance and give the cash for grocery shoping and the staff will purchase what is required (refer to our House Tips in our Welcoming Kit). Receipt will be presented as proof of purchases.

You are more than welcome to help yourself around the kitchen and dabble in some cooking yourself.

Food and Meals

• If you wish to eat in, we have put together range of menu options (refer to our Menu in the Welcoming Kit) which you can choose from.

• Ketut will be your full-time chef. She is responsible for the shopping and preparation of your meals. You are simply required to give money for grocery shopping and the staff will purchase what is required.

• If you fancy something particular that is not on the menu, please enquire within! The culinary expertise is not limited to Indonesian cuisine. We will do what we can to accommodate your request.

• We can also arrange your dinner parties or barbecues upon request! (up to 20 guests max.)

Laundry and dry cleaning service

The staff will tend to all your needs. There is a laundry basket in each bathroom for you to use. This service is included in your rate (except for dry cleaning items) and your laundered goods will be returned the next day. Please ensure to relay any special instructions so that your goods are handled properly – particularly silks and delicate fabrics.

Baby-sitting services

Our guests have often hired the housekeeping staff to watch over your young ones when you want a bit of time on your own. Ketut, Dayu, … have been working at the villa for over 5 years and they have children of their own. Kids love them.
Please arrange directly with Ketut.

24 hour security

Villa JoTy has four fully trained security guards and they patrol the estate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Telephone facilities

The house has a telephone in almost every room and an intercom system. You will not be charged for local calls. You will be charged for long distance calls. Phone cards that can be used with your mobile phone are available for international calls. Please ask Nyoman or the security guard on duty if you want to purchase one. International access can also be provided through the main phone on request. Payment of your phone usage will be made upon departure.

Wireless internet

Access to the internet in Bali is expensive and spotty. We provide free 256k WiFi over the entire property and wired bandwidth to our guests. Upon request and extra charge, we can ask for increased bandwidth from our internet service provider.

Cable TV

Cable TV and DVD player available in the main living areas. We are in the process of upgrading to a 60 channel system.

Airport transfers and transportation

We are delighted to provide airport transfer by private car to our direct clients (including VIP services upon arrival at the airport). For non direct clients, your rental agents will make their own arrangements for pick up and airport transportation.

We normally recommend that clients hire a car for the duration of their stay. Nyoman Putra, Staff Manager, can arrange this for a supplementary charge (see indicative prices below). Nyoman is also available to drive you around for your excursion, shopping or just a late night out. Drivers are recommended for all visitors. While your rented vehicle will remain available 24 hours a day, Nyoman’s time on duty is normally limited to 10-12 hours/day. Please make special arrangements with Nyoman for multi-day excursion and late services.

Please note that if you want to drive a rented car, it is recommended that you carry an international driver licence which you can obtain in your home country before traveling.

Following are indicative prices of Toyota Kijang (Capsule) daily rental rates:

• Car without driver in low season : US$30
• Car without driver in high season : US$40

Swimming pools

There are 20 x 1.5 meters lap pool and 12 x 7 meters swimming pool plus a more private 3 x 3 meters splash pool.

The swimming pools are there to be used day and night. The pools are cleaned and sanitized every morning and the staff will provide towels for your convenience.

Please ensure that children are supervised at all times and be aware that pools are shallow in some areas.

Diving is not recommended!

Gardens

Bandot takes care of the manicured gardens on a daily basis. Every night the gardens are lit up with spots and candles providing a magical and romantic setting to your evenings.

Activities and excursions

Bali is filled with fun attractions. Whether you are into golfing, scuba diving, horseback riding, rafting, visiting the amazing island temples, trekking the rice fields, taking a day trip to central Bali or to the neighboring islands (Gili islands or Lombock), nightclubbing, karaoke, or simply make a dinner booking, please don’t hesitate to ask our on-site manager, Nyoman Putra, to make convenient arrangements.
